Good afternoon Mr Little,

Thank you for the enquiry through our Mazda Contact Us page. I note the request for information on the latest map updates.
I can confirm the latest maps were released on the 6 September 2016 so will now be available to download. As stated I would always recommend completing a backup of the SD Card before any updates are completed as this information is specific to this car.

Connected, said I was entitled to Nov 2015?? but backup first
Did that and promptly crashed, now won't connect

Mine updated correctly.
It did crash right after updating Toolbox itself, but I just restarted it and I then backed up my SD-card and started the nav update.
I haven't tried it in the car yet.

Downloading now, but like last time painfully slow
2%, wait just moved to 3% after 15 mins

I wonder what happened to the automatic e-mail from Mazda advising users there was a new version available? Oh well, thanks to the forum I know it's finally available. Will try the update sometime later tomorrow
