Changing Battery - What's to know

Hi

I'm going to change the battery on my 2017 SE-L-Nav next week, and would appreciate any advice given.

Just use a good quality battery charger and you should have no problems, you may find that the "istop" stop start function doesn't work initially but it will come back when all the parameters are met by the cars ECU. So don't be concerned it is perfectly OK to charge the battery at any time, it will not cause any problems to the cars electricl equipment.

I changed my battery in the spring and didn’t experience any issues at all with Istop etc.
What I did do though was spend a few minutes checking through preferences on the info screen since one or two had got jettisoned during the switch over.
