Whats In The Box Behind The Rear View Mirror?

Yesterday on the motorway a stone chipped our windscreen about the size of a pound coin. Within 2 hours it went from a chip to an 8 inch long crack. The new screen being fitted next Wednesday at Autoglass under our insurance.
I know a camera is in that box and has to have ADAS calibration, what else besides the camera and rain sensors are in that box, anything?

Hi Turbo.
I also had a crack starting (and spreading) in my windscreen. Replaced at Autoglass on 01/08/2024.

Problem I now have is that the Lane detection no longer works (it is turned ON). They are supposed to have calibrated the ADAS and checked it.

Did you have any similar issues (or anyone else)?

Turbo I have an answer for you.

The cameras/sensors are: rain sensor, headlight auto on/dip Lane Wander warning camera and low speed pedestrian lookout camera. That was what I have been told at Autoglass.
