Re: Should I buy a MAxda CX3
I have a CX-3, only driven 10,000 miles in it. However it has never missed a beat so far. I think a lot of choice is based on reliability and from reports I have read there is nothing wrong with the CX-3. As good as any Japanese car. Re: i-stop clunk noise when moving off?
I have the same noise with mine, although I don't really notice it.
I have the same model as you 2018/2019 2WD Auto.
I can't say weather it is right or wrong, but it has never caused me a problem.
I am glad you are enjoying the rest of the car..
Take care.

Re: Now part of the CX-3 Club
I'm in the middle of my mid-life crisis. I have both , an MX-5 and a CX3.
The CX3 is a beautiful car as long as you don't need the boot space.. ENJOY!

Re: Air Con leak
As St3v3cx-3 says, it was not a recall, it was a TSB details of which were put on this site. I had my condenser changed under warranty because of a leak caused by poor quality material.

Re: Air Con leak
There was a problem with dodgy condensers on early models. Cheap Chinese copper or aluminium coils. I don't think R1234yf affects the hoses any more than R134a does. I would ask a Mazda dealer to look at it. If it is faulty materials Mazda may well contribute towards the costs even if it is outside ...
