I've got the same Question (As my Mazda SatNav gets stuck for ages trying to load updates(?) )
JT suggestion looks great for centre dash mount (Where manufacturers put their SatNavs, BUT with very big screens these days - my phone isn't that big
)
I've got a personal preference though for safety of other road users (which I'm responsible for) to put the phone to the right of the driver ideally behind the A-pillar to not block the views out the windscreen or the side screen, as you will see many experienced Taxi drivers do for very good reason (Crazy electric scooters, suicidal bikes etc.). I worked last year in a strange job involving some such driving in very urban environments, but not lucky enough to be in the Cx3 for that.
I've achieved RHS of steering wheel on other cars by using one of those bendy arm type mounts (be careful though if phone too heavy it will wobble), but tricky on the Cx3 as there is no flat space on the lovely curved dash.
So I'm wondering if the following might work:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/BBASDF-Dashboa ... B0DQW7H7HV
I'm not sure though if the adjustment arm is long enough or if the clamp will really work anywhere on the Cx3
Be very careful also there are side curtain airbags to consider, you don't want to be hit in the face by your phone. Its a balance of two risks, and perhaps depends where you drive (extreme urban vs country)
So JT probably has the best answer, but any thoughts appreciated.
