I had a sense that I had these on the car but of late noticed a lack of light. Were running lights fitted as standard to UK models?

Yes, when the CX-3 was first released in the UK in 2015 it had LED DRLs on the Sport Nav model and halogen ones on the lower spec modelscountryman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 2:26 pm I had a sense that I had these on the car but of late noticed a lack of light. I think the running lights switch off when the handbrake is applied. I can see the reflection of mine in a vehicle in front when in a queue.

HouseSpider is correct. In the CX-3 Owner's Manual it states :-HouseSpider wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 10:02 am I think the running lights switch off when the handbrake is applied. I can see the reflection of mine in a vehicle in front when in a queue.
Some countries require moving vehicles to have their lights on (running lights) during the daytime. The running lights turn on automatically when the vehicle starts moving. The turn off when the parking brake is operated or the selector lever is shifted to the P position (automatic transaxle vehicle)
