Hi, and thanks for adding me to the group.

Our 2016 1.5 diesel Skyactive Infotainment screen went blank last week, although the radio kept working. I tried the reboot procedure and also disconnected the battery for a few minutes, but to no avail. Had it to the garage who said it’s the actual module that is faulty. Has anyone had the same issue and were you able to get it repaired? I’m guessing it will cost an arm and a leg to buy from the main stealers!

Thanks in advance.

You can find second hand units a lot cheaper on eBay. How to guides on YouTube, show you how to replace the replace the head unit.

I replaced the touchscreen in ours which was a fairly easy job but in theory swapping the head unit should be plug and play. You might then need a firmware update.

Thanks, Percy247.

A replacement via EBay arrived today and now fitted, seems to be ok, display a little different to previous one, possibly newer version.

I have also found a company who repair them if helps anyone - Infotronics, they were very helpful.
